As a Fitness Trainer, you shall be assisting the Senior Fitness Trainer for the conducting of fitness training and fitness tests, the check-in and check-out process, the provisions of emergency medical procedures, risk assessment and etc. You shall also be placed on a duty roster for different roles, including but not limited to Duty Instructor and Gym Supervisor. You are expected to perform your functions and roles in accordance to the operation guidelines.
This is an outpost position. You shall be going through internal trainings and induction program. You are required to successfully completed these programs before your official deployment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all check-in and check-out process of all trainings and fitness tests
- Organize and conduct fitness training and tests in accordance to the lesson plans and guidelines
- Assist in emergency response procedure in times of need, including activating ambulance, perform CPR, operate AED
- Perform after-use check on all equipment at the test center to ensure the usability
- Write incident reports, including injuries, test violations and any other occurrences of out-of-ordinary situations.
- Perform roles as Duty Instructor and Gym Supervisor
Must Have
- Minimum one of the following:
Completed Fitness Instructor Course (FIC) accredited by SportSG, or
NITEC in Fitness Training by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), or
SAF Specialist Cadet Course (Fitness) / Basic Fitness Specialist Course Certificate, or
Completed Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) PTI course, or
American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, or
American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Group Fitness Instructor - Valid CPR+AED certificate
- Passed IPPT (if eligible)
- Completed Full Time National Service (if eligible)
- Body Mass Index (BMI) of less than 25

- Possess Driver's License and own transport
- Proficient in computer and Microsoft Office applications, and is comfortable in using mobile apps
